Critics of the Government Must Balanced

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono asked for information about the successes and failures of government programs delivered to society as balanced. "If the government is said to completely fail, poor, backward and as if no good then this would be toxic. Vice versa, if the government just reported all well, also not good," said President Yudhoyono alias SBY in a special interview with a private radio in Jakarta, Wednesday (20/10). Responding to the news media and comments of various parties that criticize the government, Yudhoyono said he would accept any criticism against the government over press reports and all done in a balanced party. According to critics to give influence government to make improvements to the results that have not been achieved.

"This is a common occurrence in the reign of every president since Sukarno to Megawati. What is important for political education, the truth must be preached in a balanced way. If both say well and good if it did not say not good. So there is justice and truth in this country," added the President.

The Questioning the impression of violence, excessive blasphemy against government leaders, President Yudhoyono says the criticism and the application of the rules should be enforced by the internal press itself. "There are institutions like the Press Council could oversee it if the appropriate rules of journalism or not," he said.
