Armed Groups in Action, 7 people killed

 A group of armed men opened fire at a football match between two local teams in the west of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The incident killed seven people and wounding two others.

As reported by CNN on Tuesday (25/01/2011), a soccer field that is used for the match was in a drug mafia community center that recently opened four months ago. Field was built as part of a program to reduce drug abuse in the city which has been synonymous with violence and murder linked to drug cartels.
"We still do not have a motive for this shooting," said local police spokesman Adrian Sanchez CNN in a telephone interview from the scene.

The dead were all men, aged between 19-26. One of the dead were a football player. In the picture posted on the CNN site, looking football players died on the grass. On it there is big writing Spanish-language which means "better life" - the slogan of the anti-violence campaign that echoed the government.

Three victims died at the scene, while four others died on the way to the hospital.

"They fired 180 rounds in three or four seconds. The incident happened so quickly." People here are still confused about what happened, "he added.
