HTC Announces Desire S, Wildfire S, and Incredible S, Refresher Previous Edition

Leaked HTC Android-based handset that appears some time ago finally proved at MWC 2011, with the posting of the new Android handset from HTC is Incredible series S, S and Wildfire Desire S. The letter S in the back indicates that the handset is not much brings new features and more as a refresher.

The leader of this Android series range is Incredible S (picture above). The size is 120 x 64 x 11.7 mm and weighs 135.5 grams. The main difference with preceding series is on the screen that now wears size 4.0 "WVGA LCD Super, the first screen on the HTC series. The screen also has a fairly unique feature is the rotating capacitive buttons on the screen. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b / g / n and DLNA.


Incredible S reported using the HTC Android OS Froyo Sense. Inside are Qualcomm 1GHz processor with 768MB of RAM. There 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash on the back which can record 720p video and 1.3MP front camera for video calls.

Meanwhile Desire HTC Android OS 2.3 S wearing Gingerbread and 3.7-inch WVGA screen with an aluminum body like the HTC Legend. This handset uses Qualcomm MSM8255 processor 1.2GHz, 768MB RAM, and graphics card Adreno 205.

HTC Desire S

Desire S also features a 5MP camera with recorder 720p rear and front VGA camera in front. Desire size S is 115 x 59.8 x 11.63mm and weighs 130 grams. Other features same as the previous series except for additional Wi-Fi 802.11n.

HTC Wildfire S has a size of 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4mm, a size similar to the Aria 103.8 x 57.7 x 11.7mm. Wildfire 2.3 S using Android UI Gingerbread with Sense and HVGA resolution 3.2-inch screen. Inside are 600MHz processor with 512MB of RAM.

There is also a 5MP camera with LED flash and a microSD card slot. According to HTC Wildfire S is the smallest smartphone them is shorter than Wildfire and Aria / Gratia. Wildfire S appeared to have features Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC (second handset is not there already), plus Wi-FI b / g / n.
Wildfire Desire S and S will be available widely in Europe and Asia in the second quarter of 2011 while the S Incredible HTC will come out next month. Not yet known the price of each of these handsets.
