Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Widjajono Partowidagdo, died while climbing Mount Tambora, Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, Saturday (21/4). Deceased before his death had sent his last text sent to the mailing list ITB Alumni Association.
This is the last letter Widjajono:
If we love the people we lead, Insha Allah, God the Merciful the Compassionate will show you how to make them and us better. God is the Creator, all his will happen.
I used to sleep at 20.00 pm and wake up at 2:00 am in the morning and evening prayers and meditation and CERAGEM about 30 minutes, then open the computer for writing or writing email.
In the normal meditative states:'' Thou art God Merciful, the Compassionate, I love thee, and spare me. Thou God the Creator, all thy will happen''
Then, I asked what I wanted (and ended with say)'' Thank God for the gift.''
My dawn prayers in the mosque next door and then walk to the park from Ciragil Jenggala (pp about 4 kilometers). I greeted security guard, maid and Selling People I met on the road and consequently I also accosted by a homeless (many officials, entrepreneurs and diplomats).
So, I begin each day with peace and optimism because I believe that what He wills happens and besides I've begged and grateful too fond of his creations and try to make things better.
Oh yes, God is never out of mind. So, we do not need to worry. Believe?
Regards,
widjajono
